StoryCatcher(R) for iOS is a fun and simple tool to create and share video stories. Become the documentarian in your circles!

Once all your elements are in place, your very own movie is crafted into an amazing and shareable time capsule.

StoryCatcher(R) provides provocative interview questions to keep things interesting. Create a single story or stitch together a group of stories into a Collection. You can even create a full-length documentary. You import the pieces; we’ll take care of the glue! Simply record and share; the app does the rest!

CAMERA SHY? TRY PHOTO SLIDESHOW
For those who prefer to stay behind the lens, the Photo Slideshow theme lets you tell a story using your voice and your favorite photos. Record your story as you normally would: StoryCatcher(R) keeps your audio and replaces the video with the images you select. Add captions and a title, preview it, and share. It's a beautiful way to bring photographs to life.

Write a title and a short prompt your guests will see while they record. Afterward, rearrange, retitle, and edit the videos like any other StoryCatcher(R) story.

We believe in privacy and that your stories belong to you. No data collection or subscription, ever. Share your StoryCatcher(R) videos by email, on YouTube, or Vimeo, save to your camera roll, or store them in a shared Dropbox folder for all to enjoy, publicly or privately.
StoryCatcher(R) is the brainchild collaboration between Professional Personal Historian, April Bell, and iPhone App Coder, Urs Brauchli. Their goal is to provide an engaging and intuitive tool to bring friends and family closer together through video storytelling.

Ultimately, it is our personal stories that connect and bind us, now and for generations to come.

StoryCatcher® is now built for iPad, not just the iPhone version running on a larger screen. We're still polishing how some screens scale, and those refinements are coming in a future update.
